Getting started

Starting InkPaint

You start InkPaint in the same way as any other Animo 2.0 application, by choosing Start > Programs > Animo > InkPaint. For more information, see Starting applications.

Opening a color reference model

The first thing you need to do is open a drawing that has already been saved as a color reference model:

  1. Choose File > Open.
  1. Locate the color reference model (which has a suffix of '.crm') in the dialog panel; see Locating a file.
  1. Click OK.
The color model is loaded into the application.

If you want to copy details from an existing color model to another one, you can have several color models open in the same session. However, you can only have one copy of each model open at any given time.

You can now begin to create the palette that will be used by the painters and in the final output.
